Iggy Pop Joining Dario Argento for The Sandman

Some interesting news has come out of the recent Fantasia Frontieres Film Market Selections story that we posted an hour or so ago. One of the announced projects was Dario Argento’s The Sandman, and there have been some developments regarding it.
Fangoria is reporting that Iggy Pop and his barrage of chest veins will star in the title role of the flick.
The Sandman was scripted by David Tully (who also wrote Tobe Hooper’s upcoming Djinn) and will be presented to potential backers at the Frontières International Co-Production Market at this summer’s Fantasia film festival in Montreal.
No word yet on plot details, but stay tuned for more as it comes.
