Another Brutal Knife Attack Blamed on Slender Man

Last week’s most talked about news story came out of Wisconsin, where two pre-teen girls nearly murdered a classmate in an apparent attempt to appease the fictional character known as Slender Man.

We were hoping it would turn out to be an isolated incident, but it seems that Slender Man’s path of destruction is only beginning…

WLWT News 5 reports that a mother in Hamilton County, Cincinnati, was attacked by her 13-year-old daughter this past weekend, who was wielding a knife. The mother says that her young daughter was wearing a familiar looking mask and was apparently obsessed with the myth of Slender Man.

“I came home one night from work and she was in the kitchen waiting for me and she was wearing a mask, a white mask,” said the traumatized mother. “I got the feeling she was playing a role. It didn’t feel like her at all.”

The mother said that after hearing about the two 12-year-old Wisconsin girls allegedly stabbing their friend to please Slender Man, she thinks her daughter was under the same influence. “We found things that she had written, and she made reference to Slender Man. She also made references to killing,” she told reporters. “She even created a world for Slender Man in the game Minecraft.”

The mother was treated for minor injuries including cuts to the face and neck, and her daughter is being held in the Hamilton County Detention Center. She’s facing charges as a juvenile.

What the hell is going on in this country?!?!
