Listen, sisters! Our head witches in charge are back and better than ever in the highly anticipated sequel, Hocus Pocus 2. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are all returning to the film as the wicked and hilarious Sanderson Sisters. Tready to terrorize Salem’s children once again. Directed by Anne Fletcher (Dumplin’), the film comes to Disney+ on September 30.
It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.

From the looks of the Hocus Pocus 2 teaser trailer, a group of baby witches, or people new to practicing witchcraft, accidentally resurrect the sisters. Now they have to clean up their mess. Also, there’s a black cat seen in the Sanderson house. Could we be getting a new Thackery Binx for the next generation of horror lovers? Doug Jones, Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, Belisa Escobedo, Hannah Waddingham, Tony Hale, Juju Brener, Froy Gutierrez, Taylor Paige Henderson, and Nina Kitchen also star in Hocus Pocus 2.
Jen D’Angelo wrote the script for Hocus Pocus 2. Lynn Harris produced the film, with Adam Shankman, Ralph Winter, and David Kirschner serving as executive producers.
