Regular readers of Dread Central know that I’ve been pining for a sci-fi-themed season of American Horror Story featuring aliens for eons. Well, it looks like I might finally have my druthers when the series returns to FX for a 10th season on August 25th.

In addition to past posters and teasers for American Horror Story: Double Feature sporting a scary alien, the latest trailer features another extraterrestrial (or perhaps the same one). Have a look-see…
American Horror Story: Double Feature will intertwine two terrifying tales into a single season: “Red Tide” will take place at sea and “Death Valley” will take place on land. Both themes are colliding in the teaser above.
American Horror Story: Double Feature is the tenth installment of the award-winning anthology series created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
Confirmed cast members for Season 10 include Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Finn Wittrock, Lily Rabe, Adina Porter, Angelica Ross, Kaia Gerber, and Macaulay Culkin. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Dante Di Loreto, Tim Minear, James Wong, Jennifer Salt, Bradley Buecker, Alexis Martin Woodall, Crystal Liu, Adam Penn, and John J. Gray serve as executive producers. Alexis Martin Woodall, Patrick McKee, Robert M. Williams Jr., and Ned Martel produce. Murphy remains the showrunner.
A collision of terror like you’ve never seen. American Horror Story: Double Feature premieres on August 25th on FX; new episodes will stream the following day on Hulu.
