Brand new The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf promo takes a better look into the different characters featured in the prequel. It also showcases the talents of the film’s English-language voice actors.

The brand new animated Witcher prequel will hone in on the origins of Vesemir, who Netflix has dubbed as a “swashbuckling young witcher ”.
We don’t really know much about the new special other than it centers around Vesemir and his unfolding past.
The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf isn’t the only Witcher spin-off fans are expecting. The world will open up further with the upcoming live-action spin-off Blood Origin, arriving on December 17th.
The new animated film is written by Beau DeMayo and directed by Studio Mir’s Kwang Il Han. Studio Mir is the Korean animation label responsible for bringing us a number of Netflix properties. Notably, they are also the studio behind The Legend of Korra.
The voice talent includes Theo James as Vesemir, Lara Pulver as Tetra, Graham McTavish as Deglan, and Mary McDonnell as Lady Zerbst.
Synopsis:
The world of The Witcher expands in this anime origin story: Before Geralt, there was his mentor Vesemir — a swashbuckling young witcher who escaped a life of poverty to slay monsters for coin. But when a strange new monster begins terrorizing a politically fraught kingdom, Vesemir finds himself on a frightening adventure that forces him to confront the demons of his past.
