Bad Moon (1996)

Ted (Michael Paré) is working in Nepal when a mysterious creature attacks him and his girlfriend. Ted, though brutally maimed, survives, but his girlfriend is not so lucky. To help his recovery, Ted moves close to his sister, Janet (Mariel Hemingway), and her son, Brett (Mason Gamble). But soon realizes it was a werewolf that attacked him. Ted is helpless to stop his transformation and only Brett’s German shepherd, Thor, is able to see that Ted is a danger to everyone around him.

Candyman (1992)

Skeptical graduate student Helen Lyle (Virginia Madsen) befriends Anne-Marie (Vanessa Williams) while researching superstitions in a housing project on Chicago’s Near North Side. From Anne-Marie, Helen learns about the Candyman (Tony Todd), a knife-wielding figure of urban legend that some of her neighbors believe to be responsible for a recent murder. After a mysterious man matching the Candyman’s description begins stalking her, Helen fears that the legend may be all too real.

Cube (1997)

Without remembering how they got there, several strangers awaken in a prison of cubic cells, some of them booby-trapped. There’s onetime cop Quentin (Maurice Dean Wint), scientist Holloway (Nicky Guadagni), young math genius Leaven (Nicole de Boer), master of escapes Rennes (Wayne Robson), autistic savant Kazan (Andrew Miller) and architect Worth (David Hewlett), who might have more information on the maze than he lets on. The prisoners must use their skills if they are to escape.

The Devil’s Advocate (1997)

Aspiring Florida defense lawyer Kevin Lomax (Keanu Reeves) accepts a high-powered position at a New York law firm headed by legal shark John Milton (Al Pacino). As Kevin moves up in the firm’s ranks, his wife, Mary Ann (Charlize Theron), has several frightening, mystical experiences that begin to warp her sense of reality. The Exorcist III (1990)

Police Lt. Kinderman (George C. Scott) notices similarities between his current murder investigation and the methods used by the “Gemini” killer (Brad Dourif) who was executed 15 years before. He soon discovers a hospitalized mental patient (Jason Miller) claiming to be the dead serial killer, but who looks uncannily like a priest Kinderman knew who died during an exorcism. As more bodies are found, Kinderman looks for connections between the two supposedly dead men.

Interview with the Vampire (1994)

Born as an 18th-century lord, Louis (Brad Pitt) is now a bicentennial vampire, telling his story to an eager biographer (Christian Slater). Suicidal after the death of his family, he meets Lestat (Tom Cruise), a vampire who persuades him to choose immortality over death and become his companion. Eventually, gentle Louis resolves to leave his violent maker, but Lestat guilts him into staying by turning a young girl (Kirsten Dunst) — whose addition to the “family” breeds even more conflict.

Lord of Illusions (1995)

Private eye Harry D’Amour (Scott Bakula) travels to Los Angeles and meets with a new client, Dorothea Swann (Famke Janssen). Swann reveals that she and her husband — famed magician Philip Swann (Kevin J. O’Connor) — have been targeted by a religious cult experimenting with reincarnation. Then Philip dies on stage in a dangerous trick. Now D’Amour must struggle to protect Dorothea from the ruthless cult members and their newly reanimated religious leader, Nix (Daniel Von Bargen).

Needful Things (1993)

A creepy older man named Leland Gaunt (Max von Sydow) moves to a small town in Maine. He sets up an antique shop, bad things soon follow. Gaunt has the remarkable ability of selling people exactly what they want most. But his ideal purchases come at a price that involves more than just money. Through Gaunt’s manipulation, the citizens of the town gradually turn on one another. Resulting in violence that Sheriff Alan Pangborn (Ed Harris) struggles to contain.

For reasons unknown, the recently deceased rise from the grave as flesh-hungry zombies. Fleeing from the undead horde, a small group of survivors, including Barbara (Patricia Tallman), Ben (Tony Todd) and Harry (Tom Towles), sequester themselves in a remote farmhouse. With the zombies outside the house multiplying, tensions flare. The group argues over the best way to escape their increasingly dire situation before the dead overrun them completely.

Blue-collar family man Tom (Kevin Bacon) scoffs at the supernatural . Until he lets his wife’s sister, Lisa (Illeana Douglas), put him into a hypnotic trance. Upon waking, Tom realizes he has a psychic connection with his son, Jake (Zachary David Cope). He also has alarming hallucinations of a missing teenage neighbor named Samantha (Jennifer Morrison). Tom is convinced his visions will lead him to the girl. So he begins a desperate search that puts him into a life-threatening situation.

Two Evil Eyes (1990)

Two Evil Eyes is an Italian-American anthology horror film. It’s written and directed by George A. Romero and Dario Argento. The film is split into two separate tales. Both based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe: “The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar”, directed by Romero and starring Adrienne Barbeau, showcases his traditional mix of horror with social commentary. And “The Black Cat”, directed by Argento and starring Harvey Keitel. It blends a number of Poe references into a new narrative.
