The Aircraft Carrier Battle Scene in GODZILLA VS KONG is 18 Minutes Long!

If you’re worried that the producers of Godzilla vs Kong have been giving too much away in the film’s copious trailers and TV spots–don’t be. The aircraft carrier scene alone is 18 minutes long, meaning there will be plenty of action left to behold when the film arrives in theaters and HBO Max on March 31st!

Synopsis:
Legends collide in Godzilla vs. Kong as these mythic adversaries meet in a spectacular battle for the ages, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance.  Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home, and with them is Jia, a young orphaned girl with whom he has formed a unique and powerful bond.  But they unexpectedly find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla, cutting a swath of destruction across the globe.  The epic clash between the two titans—instigated by unseen forces—is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the core of the Earth.

On the Film Junkee Vodka Stream, Godzilla vs Kong composer Junkie XL stated:

“I’m not going to say how this thing ends but there’s some spectacular…and then so, this scene that was released today, was it on IGN? Forty seconds of footage? That scene is 18 minutes long and it’s ridiculous.
