DISSECTING HORROR – What It Means to be a Scream Queen

We’ve hosted dozens of virtual panels since the world went on lockdown last March–but TONIGHT may be the most historic and entertaining event yet!

Dread Central’s “Dissecting Horror” series’s next episode is “Dissecting the Scream Queen Trope” and it’s happening TONIGHT (October 29th at 6:00 PM Pacific). You can tune in via our  Facebook page through Facebook Live and our Twitch Channel. In addition, the panel will be made available to view anytime on our official YouTube Channel.

Dread’s Tyler Doupe’ will be assuming hosting duties for the upcoming virtual panel. The discussion will cover the origins of the term “Scream Queen”, the challenges and benefits that come along with the label, as well as double standards and gender politics in Hollywood.
