HOCUS POCUS Stars Reunite for Bette Midler Fundraiser This Halloween

Bette Midler’s annual Hulaween fundraising gala will reunite her with her original Hocus Pocus co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy this Halloween.
In Search of the Sanderson Sisters: A Hocus Pocus Hulaween Takeover will take place on Friday, October 30. Tickets are on sale now. Snag your tickets and find out more info at the New York Restoration Project’s official website HERE.
Adam Shankman’s Hocus Pocus 2 is set to begin filming early next year in L.A. and Massachusetts with Midler, Parker, and Najimy returning as the Sanderson sisters.
Shankman (Hairspray) directs from a script by Jen D’Angelo (Workaholics).
Hocus Pocus was directed by Kenny Ortega from a script by Neil Cuthbert and Mick Garris (The Stand). David Kirschner (Child’s Play) produced with Steven Haft.
The original centered on a group of kids who accidentally frees a coven of evil witches and with the help of a magical cat must steal the witches’ book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal. It starred Midler, Najimy, and Parker with Thora Birch, Omri Katz, Vinessa Shaw, Jason Marsden, and Doug Jones.
