Amores Perros and Y Tu Mamá También actor Gael García Bernal is set to join M. Night Shyamalan’s new secret movie from Universal. He joins a cast which includes Thomasin McKenzie, Eliza Scanlen, Aaron Pierre, Alex Wolff, Vicky Krieps, Abbey Lee, Nikki Amuka-Bird, and Ken Leung
Shyamalan will write and direct the film and produce with Ashwin Rajan and Marc Bienstock. Steven Schneider is executive producer.
As you might imagine, plot details are shrouded in secrecy. But like Glass, Split, and The Visit, Shyamalan will independently finance this film.
Universal recently dated this new Shaymalan joint for July 23, 2021.
