THE INVISIBLE MAN: Leigh Whannell Confirms Who Wears the Suit & When

BEWARE. SPOILERS. OBVIOUSLY.

Blumhouse and writer-director Leigh Whannell’s The Invisible Man is now available on Blu-ray. And today Whannell revealed exactly when Adrian (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) is in the suit and when his brother Tom (Michael Dorman) is wearing it.

He tells Collider: “Tom’s only wearing it once.”

For those of you keeping score at home, this means that the one and only time Tom is the one wearing the suit is in the scene where he gets super-murdered.

Rated R for some strong bloody violence, and language, in this version of the classic tale centers on a woman trapped in a violent, controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist. But when her abusive ex dies by suicide and leaves her a portion of his fortune, she suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of eerie coincidences turn lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, her sanity begins to unravel as she desperately tries to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.
