Blumhouse Limited Series BETAAL Arrives on Netflix May 24th

This Sunday, May 24th, Netflix will premiere Blumhouse TV’s thriller-horror series Betaal. Centering around Indian folklore and featuring an all-star cast, the characters confront questions of morality and redemption, anchoring a story packed with nail-biting action, drama, an epic battle (and zombies!). Synopsis:
Set in a remote village, which quickly becomes the arena of a breathless battle when a two-century-old East India Company Colonel, infected with the Betaal’s curse, and his battalion of blood-thirsty zombie redcoats are released from their tomb – attacking anything with a pulse. With the Counter Insurgency Police Department (CIPD) forces pitted against the undead army, hapless civilians are trapped in a gripping, edge-of-your-seat conflict. Executive produced by Blumhouse Television and SK Global Entertainment.
Betaal is directed by Patrick Graham and Nikhil Mahajan; the series stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Suchitra Pillai, Aahana Kumra, Jeetendra Joshi, Jatin Goswami, Manjiri Pupala, and Syna Anand.
