Director Stephen Williams recently helmed two episodes of HBO’s hit Watchmen series. And today we’ve just learned via Variety that Williams has been tapped to helm Universal’s suspenseful monster movie Don’t Go in the Water.
Details regarding Peter Gaffney’s script are being kept under tight wraps but we do know that Stranger Things producer Shawn Levy will produce alongside Adam Kolbrenner and Dan Levine.
Adam Rodin is executive producing.
Universal’s executive VP of Production Matt Reilly and director of development Lexi Barta will oversee the project on behalf of the studio. Are you up for this suspenseful Universal monster movie?
