Cabin Fever is directed by Eli Roth (Hostel, Death Wish) from a screenplay he co-wrote along with Randy Pearlstein. Roth also produced along with Lauren Moews, Sam Froelich, and Evan Astrowsky. It stars Rider Strong, Jordan Ladd, James DeBello, Cerina Vincent, Joey Kern, Arie Verveen, and Giuseppe Andrews. Lionsgate Films unleashed it back on September 12, 2003.

Rated R for strong violence and gore, sexuality, language, and brief drug use, it sports a 62% rating over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: More gory than scary, Cabin Fever is satisfied with paying homage to genre conventions rather than reinventing them.
