THE TURNING Haunts Blu-ray With Alternate Ending on 4/21

DreamWorks and director Floria Sigismondi’s The Turning with Mackenzie Davis (Terminator: Dark Fate) and Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) hit theaters back in January.

And today we learned that the film hits Digital on April 7 and on Blu-ray and DVD on April 21 with an alternate ending. Check out the full list of special features and cover art below.

DreamWorks Pictures’ The Turning takes us to a mysterious estate in the Maine countryside, where newly appointed nanny Kate is charged with the care of two disturbed orphans, Flora and Miles. Quickly though, she discovers that both the children and the house are harboring dark secrets and things may not be as they appear.

The film only managed to score a 13% rating over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: Stylish but muddled, this misbegotten adaptation of Henry James’ classic novel will send horror-hungry viewers Turning to the source material instead.

The Turning was directed by Floria Sigismondi and produced by Scott Bernstein, Roy Lee, and Seth William Meier from a screenplay written by Carey and Chad Hayes based on The Turn of the Screw by Henry James. It starred Mackenzie Davis, Finn Wolfhard, Brooklynn Prince, and Joely Richardson. It Digital on April 7 and on Blu-ray/DVD on April 21.
