THE INVISIBLE MAN 90% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes

Blumhouse and writer-director Leigh Whannell’s The Invisible Man will creep into a theater near you this Friday. And today we hear the movie could be a new horror classic.

In fact, The Invisible Man currently sports a 90% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: Smart, well-acted, and above all scary, The Invisible Man proves that sometimes, the classic source material for a fresh reboot can be hiding in plain sight.

Sounds good to me!

In this version, Elisabeth Moss plays a woman trapped in a violent, controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist. She escapes in the dead of night and disappears into hiding, aided by her sister, their childhood friend, and his teenage daughter. But when her abusive ex dies by suicide and leaves her a portion of his fortune, she suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of eerie coincidences turn lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, her sanity begins to unravel as she desperately tries to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.

Written and directed by Leigh Whannell, Blumhouse’s The Invisible Man is produced by Jason Blum and Kylie du Fresne produce. It haunts theatres on February 28, 2020
