First-time feature director Andrew Baird’s sci-fi thriller Zone 414 is currently shooting in Belfast, Northern Ireland with Guy Pearce (Prometheus, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark), Matilda Lutz (Rings, Revenge), and Travis Fimmel (Vikings, Warcraft)

The film is set in the near future where private investigator David Carmichael (Pearce) is hired by an obsessive business tycoon Marlon Veidt (Travis Fimmel) to find his rebellious daughter in a colony of humanoid robots – aka Zone 414. Teaming up with a highly advanced, self-aware A.I. (Lutz), David moves through the dangerous iron jungle, rapidly piecing together the mystery and uncovering a crime that questions the origins of Zone 414 and the City of Robots.
Andrew Baird directs Zone 414 from a screenplay written by Bryan Edward Hill. Martin Brennan produces along with Jib Polhemus, Andrew Baird, and Deborah Kolar. Mark Huffam serves as the movie’s executive producer. Highland Film Group is handling worldwide sales.
