Chloë Grace Moretz turns 23 today, and horror fans have watched her grow up before our very eyes. Though her filmography is vast and diverse, horror has always been a staple of her career; she appeared in The Amityville Horror in 2005 (her first feature film) and went on to have prominent roles in Room 6, Wicked Little Things, The Eye, Let Me In, Texas Killing Fields, Dark Shadows, Carrie, Dark Places, The 5th Wave, Suspiria, and Greta.
Moretz also played Hit-Girl in the Kick-Ass movies. Though not technically horror, the Kick-Ass movies were surprisingly violent and dark.
All of us here at Dread Central wish Chloë Grace Moretz a very happy birthday. We can’t wait to see what you do in your next two decades. Keep up the amazing work!
