FEAR THE WALKING DEAD Adds SCARY STORIES’ Zoe Colletti

Well, it looks like Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark actress Zoe Colletti is joining The Walking Dead spin-off Fear The Walking Dead as a new series regular for the upcoming sixth season.

Deadline reports that while no details have been revealed about Colletti’s character, her role will be “pivotal” and “will unfurl as the season progresses.”

Fear the Walking Dead season six will explore what has become of the unlikely family of survivors who were ripped apart by a formidable new adversary at the end of season five.

The spin-off stars Lennie James, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Garret Dillahunt, Maggie Grace, Jenna Elfman, Alexa Nisenson, Austin Amelio, and Ruben Blades.

The series is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, as well as Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd, and Greg Nicotero.

Meanwhile, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark centered on Colletti’s reclusive character Stella who – along with her two friends – meet a mysterious drifter, Ramón on Halloween 1968 and uncover a sinister notebook of stories by a mysterious author named Sarah Bellows.

It was directed by Andre Ovredal and produced by Guillermo del Toro from a screenplay written by Dan and Kevin Hageman from a story by del Toro, Patrick Melton, and Marcus Dunstan based on the book series by Alvin Schwartz. Lionsgate unleashed it back on August 9, 2019.
