But when Dutch and his team, which includes weapons expert Blain and CIA agent George, land in Central America, something is gravely wrong. After finding a string of dead bodies, the crew discovers they are being hunted by a brutal creature with superhuman strength and the ability to disappear into its surroundings.

Predator was directed by John McTiernan (Die Hard) from a screenplay written by Jim Thomas and John Thomas. Lawrence Gordon, Joel Silver, and John Davis produced. It starred Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers, Bill Duke, Jesse Ventura, Sonny Landham, Shane Black, and Kevin Peter Hall as The Predator. 20th Century Fox released it on June 12, 1987.
