New Poster for JACOB’S LADDER Remake Coming to Theaters & On Demand in August

It didn’t drop in February as originally announced, but the sequel to 1990’s seminal psychological horror Jacob’s Ladder will arrive on various platforms in a matter of days. First, the remake (directed by David M. Rosenthal) will arrive on DISH beginning July 25th; then, the film will hit theaters and On Demand simultaneously August 23rd.
We just got our hands on the official poster for the film! Have a look-see below, followed by the synopsis and trailer for Jacob’s Ladder.
Synopsis:
After the death of his brother in Afghanistan, Jacob Singer is finally getting his life back together. He has a beautiful wife, a newborn child and a successful career as a surgeon in a VA hospital. When a stranger approaches him and tells him that his brother is actually alive and living in an underground shelter with other homeless vets, Jacob’s life starts to unravel. He begins hallucinating, believes he is being followed by violent attackers and becomes paranoid about the truth of what really happened to his brother. When he discovers that his brother is alive and addicted to an experimental drug, he uncovers a secret he never could have been prepared for.
Jacob’s Ladder was written by Jeff Buhler and Sarah Thorpe; the film stars Michael Ealy, Jesse Williams, Nicole Beharie, and Karla Souza.
