Two New Films to Die For
We’ve been hearing rumors and conjectures about it for weeks now, but today Fangoria were able to officially confirm the first two movies that will be part of the second annual After Dark Horrorfest, the weekend-long, multi-city film festival that made significant contributions to the genre last year.
Too bad everything After Dark did after that went from creepy (and not in a good way) to down right bad.
Anyway, the first two films are The Deaths of Ian Stone, about a guy who is murdered every day, only to wake up in a slightly altered reality and be pursued all over again, and Rolfe Kanefsky’s Nightmare Man (review), in which Tiffany Shepis (yum) co-stars as the friend of a woman (Blythe Metz) whose nightmares come to life and make things difficult for her and those close to her.
Fangoria did get the word fright from After Dark’s Executive VP of Creative Affairs, so we can trust the info is legit. Two down, six more to go!
Ponder what the next six films will be in the Dread Central forums!
