Trailer: Final Look at Horror Heavy SWAMP THING TV Series Drops Ahead of Friday’s Premiere

Everything we’ve seen so far in the trailers for DC’s Swamp Thing TV series has had a heavy horror vibe–and we’re loving it! The final teaser, embedded above, is no exception. Press “Play” for two and a half minutes of terror!
Synopsis:
Swamp Thing centers on CDC researcher Abby Arcane. When she returns to her childhood home of Houma, Louisiana, in order to investigate a deadly swamp-borne virus, she develops a surprising bond with scientist Alec Holland — only to have him tragically taken from her. But as powerful forces descend on Houma, intent on exploiting the swamp’s mysterious properties for their own purposes, Abby will discover that the swamp holds mystical secrets, both horrifying and wondrous — and the potential love of her life may not be dead after all.
The Swamp Thing TV series will be premiering exclusively on DC’s streaming platform beginning this Friday, May 31st. The titular Swamp Thing is played by Derek Mears who stars with Virginia Madsen, Amber Barnes, Jennifer Beals, and Andy Bean (among others); Len Wiseman directs.
