Brightburn hits theaters nationwide this Friday and horror fans are chomping at the bit for what could be the first truly terrifying superhero movie ever made. The trailers have been fantastic and have already inspired imaginations, proven by the tremendous response producers got from their recent call for fan art.
Five winners were selected by Brightburn producer James Gunn himself on Friday. Check out all of them in the Twitter post below, followed by each poster individually.
Synopsis:
What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister? With Brightburn, the visionary filmmaker of Guardians of the Galaxy and Slither presents a startling, subversive take on a radical new genre: superhero horror.
David Yarovesky directs Brightburn from a screenplay penned by Brian Gunn and Mark Gunn; the film stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, and Matt Jones. Look for Brightburn to crash into US theaters beginning May 24th.
