In HELLBOY David Harbour Displays a Unique Feature Never Before Seen in Film

Hellboy 2019 Poster 197x300 - In HELLBOY David Harbour Displays a Unique Feature Never Before Seen in Film

When Neil Marshall’s Hellboy arrives in US theaters beginning April 12th, it’ll be a different world than the one created by Guillermo del Toro in his two Hellboy movies. This is immediately clear just looking at the main character; David Harbour’s Hellboy looks quite different from Ron Perlman, who played the same character in del Toro’s films.

Harbour’s younger, harrier, and, well… pinker. But these aren’t the only features that differentiate the two Hellboys. In Marshall’s film, we’ll be seeing Hellboy’s feet. While this might not sound like a big deal, you’ve got to realize that Hellboy doesn’t have human feet. According to a set report from our friends at Collider:

For the first time in a Hellboy movie, we will get to see Hellboy’s feet. “We figured out a place to put his feet into the film,” [makeup team leader Joel] Harlow says. “Granted he wears boots for most of it. We’ll get a shot of his cloven hoof feet.”

Check out the synopsis and trailer for Hellboy below.

Based on the graphic novels by MikeMignola, Hellboy, caught between the worlds of the supernatural and human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge.

In addition to Harbour, Hellboy stars Ian McShane, Milla Jovovich, and Daniel Dae Kim.
