Exclusive V FOR VENDETTA LP Artwork Remembers the Fifth of November

Coming October 5 will be the first ever LP releases for James McTeigue’s V For Vendetta, the live-action adaptation based on Alan Moore and David Lloyd’s DC/Vertigo Comics series. Featuring tracks from Cat Power as well as Antony and The Johnsons, Varese Sarabande’s LP will also contain the music of Oscar winner Dario Marianelli.

The packaging will include a 2xLP inside a wide-spine jacket with original artwork done by “Ghoulish” Gary Pullin. Inside the packaging will be an actual Guy Fawkes mask. Below you can see the exclusive reveal of the cover art.

V For Vendetta came out in 2006 and followed Evey (Natalie Portman), a young woman who gets caught up in a revolution plot masterminded by V (Hugo Weaving). Written and produced by Lilly and Lana Wachowski, the film was a follow-up to their highly successful The Matrix series. V For Vendetta was generally well-received by critics and ended up pulling in just over $132 million globally.
