Popcorn Frights 2018: Cuba Beset By Terror in HAVANA DARKNESS Stills

Ahead of tomorrow’s world premiere of Havana Darkness – the first English-language horror film shot in Cuba – we’ve got several images from the film that show off a lot of blood, some creepy masks, and some vintage cars.

Traveling to Havana, Cuba, to investigate the origins of a mysterious manuscript supposedly written by acclaimed American novelist, Ernest Hemingway, three friends are thrust into a terrifying game of cat and mouse when they find themselves trapped inside an abandoned building nestled in the center of the country’s vibrant capital. With time running out fast they must maneuver through a maze of deadly traps to escape the building before they’re hunted down.

The film plays at the Savor Cinema in Fr. Lauderdale, FL at 7pm. Tickets are available here.

Directed by Guillermo Iván and written by Barry Keating, Havana Darkness stars Jack Dimich, Hannah D. Scott, Carolina Ravassa, Zach Rose, and Monte Bezell.
