Director Vincenzo Natali (Splice) will be helming an all-new adaptation of Stephen King and son Joe Hill’s short story In the Tall Grass for Netflix. And today Deadline has announced the film’s killer cast!
The new movie is all set to star Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring, Insidious), Laysla De Oliveira and Harrison Gilbertson. Production is getting underway in Toronto.
Natali pens the screenplay as well. The film is produced by Steven Hoban, Jimmy Miller, and M. Riley. It will be hitting Netflix worldwide sometime in 2019.
Synopsis:
After hearing a young boy’s cry for help, a sister and brother venture into a vast field of tall grass in Kansas but soon discover there may be no way out… and that something evil lurks within the tall grass.
