Exclusive: SHIN GODZILLA Actress Joins THE GREAT BUDDHA ARRIVAL

We’ve been given the news that Shin Godzilla actress Inge Murata has joined the cast of Hiroto Yokokawa’s upcoming kaiju feature The Great Buddha Arrival. Murata can be seen standing to the left of actress Shelley Sweeney, who also appears in the film, in the photo to the right. This news comes off the hells of the recent announcement that Ippei Ohsako, also from Shin Godzilla, has joined the cast.
The ensemble cast includes legendary actor Akira Takarada (star of six Godzilla films, including the original), Peggy Neal (X From Outer Space), Yukijiro Hotaru (Gamera trilogy, Godzilla: GMK), Shelley Sweeney (star of four Godzilla films), Yuki Morita (Godzilla 2014), Norman England (Godzilla: 2000, Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S.), Robert Scott Field (Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah), Masanori Kikuzawa, J-Pop superstar Momoka Iwata, rapper Yuma, Kazuma Yoneyama, Jun’ichiro Nirasawa and Yoshihiko Ohtsuki (both from Godzilla: Final Wars), and Takashi Yasuda.
