Blumhouse and Leigh Whannell’s UPGRADE Gets Killer New TV Spot
Blumhouse and writer-director Leigh Whannell’s new sci-fi horror thriller Upgrade is a flick that currently rests damn-near the top of my must-see list.
I mean the film took SXSW by storm, winning the Audience Award and it even snagged a review via Dread Central which called the film, “a wickedly entertaining sci-fi body horror thrill ride.”
And if all of that wasn’t enough to get you excited about the film, then maybe today’s new TV spot will do the trick.
You can check out the new TV below and the poster to the right and then make sure to let us know what you think in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!
The new Blumhouse film is written and directed by Leigh Whannell (Saw, Insidious) and stars Logan Marshall-Green (Prometheus, The Invitation) and Betty Gabriel (Get Out).
The film hits theaters June 1.
Synopsis:
After his wife is killed during a brutal mugging that also leaves him paralyzed, Grey Trace (Logan Marshall-Green) is approached by a billionaire inventor with an experimental cure that will “upgrade” his body. The cure – an Artificial Intelligence implant called STEM – gives Grey physical abilities beyond anything experienced and the ability to relentlessly claim vengeance against those who murdered his wife and left him for dead.
