Author Neil Gaiman took to Twitter to reveal that the long-running animated series “The Simpsons” will be doing a parody of his book Coraline for their annual Treehouse of Horror. This year’s episode will air on October 22nd.

Gaiman has also confirmed that he will be providing his voice to a character that has supposedly never spoken before. In this case, it’s the cat that accompanies Lisa on her journeys through the Coraline universe. You can see an image from the episode below.

Coraline was published in 2002 and was then turned into a stop-motion animated feature by Laika in 2009. It took in nearly $125 million globally by the end of its theatrical run. It also won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
