Ah, the proverbial “friend zone”, that place where men feel like they were relegated to the role of “just a friend” with someone when they really wanted something more. After all, doesn’t it just suck to be friends with someone?
Now, I’m not saying that it’s easy to ask a person out. Hell, that takes a lot of balls because you’re laying out how you see someone in the hopes that they might see you back in the same way. It’s not easy to do that, at least not for a lot of people, and that doesn’t even factor in the fear of rejection. Plus, then there’s always that awkwardness between you and the person you asked out, which just sucks.
Alright, enough of me seeing both sides of the situation. Let’s instead focus on the below video, which was created by GoubTube. The basic gist of it is that it envisions the “friend zone” as the basis of a horror movie where each attempt to break through only makes things worse.
