Bell Plays the Devil
Though it’s not a horror movie, in fact as one would assume it’s actually a comedy, it’s always good to hear about Tobin Bell getting some non-Jigsaw related work.
Variety announced this morning that Bell has signed on to play the devil in Luke & Jeremy Jackson’s Highway 61, the story of a struggling rock group who attempt to make a deal with the devil at the Mississippi crossroads junction made famous by bluesman Robert Johnson. And, of course, Ralph Machio in the underrated 1986 rock ‘n roll tale Crossroads.
Filming is going down in Idaho, Utah and LA according to the trade. I guess Mississippi is too expensive to shoot in? Weird. As soon as we find out more, so will you!
