Artist’s Bio (from Trick Or Treat Studios):

Jason King is a self-taught artist born and raised in San Diego, California.

Jason grew up watching 80s horror movies and was a natural born Halloween fanatic. He began experimenting with special effects makeup at 10 years old, terrorizing his friends and family with fake wounds and more fake blood than a child should have access to.

His first job was acting at a Halloween haunted attraction, which led to working as a makeup artist, which led to a life long interest in making Halloween masks.

In 2002 he took his tax return and turned it into mask making supplies. Two years later he was working for a costume company as a mold maker. Four years after that he was sculpting for Rubie’s Costume Company, working on the very licenses he grew up watching.
