Hall is described a drama which veers into a supernatural mystery, telling the story of Kit Gordy, a troubled teen with a haunted past who is committed to Blackwood, a mysterious school for gifted but disturbed girls, where she uncovers its hidden and horrifying purpose.

Duncan’s book was first published in 1974.
