Horror Game Strange Night Can Only Be Played at Night

Legendary designer David Cage famously said that video games will die without innovation. And while most mainstream developers and publishers are happy to turn out the same old shtick over and over again, some indie devs are truly prepared to go the extra mile and boldly take their games into uncharted territory.

Case in point: The upcoming game Strange Night can only be played at night. More precisely, it can only be played between 10pm and 7am. I’m pretty sure that’s a first in gaming. So if you prefer to play creepy horror games during the day to relieve the tension, then sorry… you’re shit out of luck.

Experience the late-night horrors of Strange Night on Steam.

Synopsis:
A psychological horror game in first-person, the player controls camera monitoring and needs to make periodic rounds. The game begins after a mysterious person hires a night security firm to work in their apartment. But the staff did not expect fear and madness behind this place.

Strange Night is an inspired game in the atmospheric environment of P.T., and working with the cameras brings a bit of FNAF’s tension.

For a better user experience, the game will only work from 22 pm until 07 am.
