Religion has always been a huge cause of pain and misery in the world, so it’s refreshing when a new film comes along that reminds us of the absurdities of devoting our lives to following books written thousands of years ago by people who believed that the world was flat.
In Shepherd of Death (Facebook), a superfluity of nuns decide that they’ve had enough of the crime and corruption that’s plaguing their town, so they choose to arm themselves up and send those responsible on their way to meet Jesus early. As Father McGruder from Peter Jackson’s Dead Alive so brilliantly put it: “I kick ass for The Lord!”
Shepherd of Death is directed by Frank Appache and does not yet have a release date.
Synopsis:
In a town riddled with crime, the flock of a parish has gone astray. Left with no other choice, the church will turn to the Shepherd and his Nuns to put the lost sheep to death!
