A Hospital Becomes a Literal House of Death in Maligno

Hospitals are already pretty scary places, with the sheer amount of death that occurs within their walls, so add ghosts, and you’re only one step away from Hell.
Maligno is a ghost film set in one such medical institution, and we’ve got a look at the trailer ahead of its release in its native Peru on 14 July. It marks the feature directional debut for both Martin Casapía Casanova and Paco Bardales.
Sure, this certainly isn’t the first haunted hospital movie, and it won’t be the last, but damn, this is one effectively creepy trailer. It’s a safe bet that this be a genuinely creative flick with some truly effective scares rather than just being something that mimics all the other hospital ghost movies of its ilk.
