Actress Mickey Sumner Gets Caught in a Nightmare

The daughter of legendary musician Sting, actress Mickey Sumner’s star is currently on the rise, and she was most recently seen in the films Frances Ha and The End of the Tour. Up next Sumner heads into the horror genre with the thriller Caught, currently shooting over in the UK. Read on for details.

Per Screen Daily, Sumner has joined April Pearson (“Skins”), Cian Barry (Nina Forever), and Ruben Crow (Austenland) in the Jamie Patterson-directed film. The script was penned by Dave Allsop and Alex Francis from a story developed by Allsop and Clint Langley.

Caught tells the story of a journalist couple who invite a man and woman into their idyllic village home, but what begins with an informal interview descends into a nightmarish fight for survival.

The film is a Gael Films, Dandelion Productions, and Castleview Films production, produced by Jeremy Davis, Christina O’Shea-Daly, and Francis. Robert Halmi, Jr. (Olympus), and Jim Reeve (“Foyle’s War”) are executive producers for Great Point Media, which will also handle world sales.
