LevelK and FilmBros Head Deep Into the Cave

Norwegian filmmaker Henrik Martin Dahlsbakken recently wrapped production on Cave, his third feature, which we’ve just learned will be the first project in a deal inked between Danish sales outfit LevelK and Norwegian production company FilmBros. We’ve got all the details, so read on!
Screen Daily broke the news today, reporting that the action-thriller, shot on location in Norway and Mexico, is currently in post-production and will be released theatrically in Norway on September 2 by Another World Entertainment. Cave had a production budget of just $500,000.
The film, starring Sjøgård Pettersen (Eddie The Eagle), Benjamin Helstad (King Of Devil’s Island), Heidi Toini (Nobel) and Ingar Helge Gimle (Hotel Caesar), is about a group of former military elites who set out to explore a terrifying uncharted abyss.
Meanwhile, production has already begun on Cave 2, planned for release in late 2017.
