A remake of Joseph Larraz’s 1974 English-language cult classic of the same name, the Victor Matellano-directed Vampyres has been on our radar for some time now, and looking back, we first shared the trailer with you nearly two years ago. Distributor Reel Suspects just announced a string of sales, so read on for the latest.
Per Screen Daily, Vampyres has sold to Japan (New Select), the UK (Soda Pictures), South Korea (Alto Media), Taiwan (Moviecloud), and Scandinavia (Njuta Films). In addition, Munich-based Donau Films has acquired it for Germany and Austria.
Reel Suspects will market screen the film at Cannes.
