Now this is just funny. Not funny ha-ha, not funny ironic but funny… you know, funny.
Fangoria got their hands on some exclusive first pics from John Simpson’s Amusement, a teaser of one you can see on your right. The film is the story of some women who have to experience a whole bunch of nastiness that is linked to their traumatic childhoods.
Originally Amusement was supposed to be Bernard (Candyman) Rose’s return to the directors chair but he bowed out right before cameras rolled for undisclosed reasons. They brought in Freeze Frame helmer Simpson to take his place, working from an original script by When a Stranger Calls redux scribe Jake Wade Wall.
That doesn’t exactly fill me with feelings of hope for the quality of the finished film, but these pics sure as hell do. Click here to check them out!
