The Butt-Faced Killah Goes on a Rampage in Sodomaniac Trailers

Now this is a nasty one, even by our standards. The upcoming film Sodomaniac, about a masked vigilante known as the Butt-Faced Killah, who turns the tables on rapists and perverts by torturing and killing them in the most obscene ways possible, sounds like a fucked up superhero version of I Spit on Your Grave. They’ve released two wonderfully trashy trailers to give you an idea of what to expect, and while it sure ain’t Spielberg, it still looks enjoyable enough.
So yeah, if zero budget revenge exploitation’s your thing, then look for Sodomaniac when it’s released on DVD on July 12, 2016.
Synopsis:
It should have been a triumphant party night of double D’s for “The Wolfpack” – Debauchery and Douchebaggery. As the party goes on, this pack of friends will ask themselves a lasting question in the end: your bros may have your back… but who has got your ass?
The Wolfpack’s morals are highly questionable, in fact, non-existent. They show no remorse for their actions and deserve everything that they get in THE END. While some may say that the subject matter of Sodomaniac is sick and perverted, others will view it as a morality tale torn from today’s headlines with a definite twist and a loving bow to out-there film auteurs such as Harmony Korine and John Waters. Sodomaniac’s director and writer, Anthony Catanese (Our Lady of Swallows, dir. Spinky’s Singing Winky, dir.) describes his movies as “Harmony Korine meets Wes Craven meets John Waters meets Lloyd Kaufman meets Kevin Smith” and considers himself a humble graduate of Kaufman’s ‘Troma U’.
However he describes his movies, we say… we wouldn’t want to be caught ass-out in a dark alley and meet the revenge of the *Butt-Faced Killah.
