As we horror fans know all too well, if your car ever breaks down in the middle of nowhere, you’re fucked. Unfortunately, the characters in the movie Scathing don’t seem to have realized that because they are more concerned with petty arguments about their relationship rather than, oh, I don’t know, the knife-wielding madman who’s always lurking in the woods every time someone’s car breaks down in a horror film.
Scathing comes from first-time feature director Joseph Mazzaferro and stars Paola Duque, John Kyle, and Allie Sparks.
Synopsis:
A young couple are stranded in a remote location for several days without food or water, while a massive, giant madman stalks their every move, proving it impossible for them to escape unscathed.
