We love it when international thrillers take the charts by storm. So, we are excited to see this gripping Swedish drama become the #1 genre entry on the Netflix Global Chart. A Day And A Half (original title: En dag och en halv) is the movie people seem to be obsessed with at the moment.

“To reunite with his daughter, Artan (Alexej Manvelov) takes his ex-wife Louise (Alma Pöysti) hostage and embarks on a thrilling and emotion-charged road trip with her and police officer Lukas (Fares Fares). The journey takes them through rural Sweden during a hot summer, all while having police on their heels.

The movie stars Alexej Manvelov (ChernobylTop Dog), Fares Fares (WestworldChernobyl), Alma Pöysti (Tove, Fallen Leaves), Stina Ekblad (Wallander, Fanny and Alexander), Bengt C.W. Carlsson (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Death of a Pilgrim), Annica Liljeblad (Black Beauty), Annika Hallin (The Girl Who Played with Fire, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest), and Johni Tadi (Snabba Cash).
