First Look at Survival Quest Art!

The kind, gentle souls over at Anchor Bay Entertainment have given Dread Central the exclusive first look at the cover art for the infamous “lost” Don Coscarelli movie, Survival Quest, which they will release on April 10th.
Survivial Quest tells of five strangers from the city who embark on the ultimate wilderness challenge: four weeks in the Rockies. A nasty accident when they cross paths with a paramilitary squad leads to a deadly misunderstanding that has the group of would-be survivalists fighting for their lives.
We asked Coscarelli recently about what makes Quest different from his other films. “What distinguishes this film is its uniformly terrific cast including Catherine Keener in her first starring role (she went on to receive two Academy Award nominations), Dermot Mulroney in his first starring role, and a simply superb performance by Lance Henriksen, “ he told us. “Also in the film are Mark Rolston (Aliens, The Departed) and Paul Provenza the great stand-up comic and director of the recent hit film The Aristocrats.” That really is a fantastic lineup, especially for such an early film in the man’s career!
“As always, Anchor Bay is issuing the film in grand style including a new digital film transfer, a never-before heard 5.1 audio remix and, of course, the “director’s cut” version,” he went on, “[as well as] a behind the scenes featurette with video shot on location in the High Sierras.”
