Godzilla Meets Rudolph and Ippaiattena in New Toho Cinemas Promo

It’s obvious that the folks at Toho Cinemas are more than a little excited about Godzilla’s return to the big screen. In fact, the studio wrangled two characters from an upcoming family-friendly CGI flick to help spread the good word. In the latest promo for Toho Cinemas, the adorable duo Rudolph and Ippaiattena have an extremely close encounter with the giant reptile.
For those who are curious, Toho announced last year that an adaptation of author Hiroshi SaitÅ’s beloved children’s book Rudolph to Ippaiattena would hit the big screen during the summer of 2016. In an odd bit of cross promotion, the studio decided to have the furry critters cross paths with the iconic monster. At present, Godzilla: Resurgence will debut in Japan on July 29, 2016.
