Our “Seasonal Treats” series wrapped up earlier today, but a late entry arrived in our inbox that was just too good to pass up. So we have a bonus short film to share: comedy/horror Over My Dead Body, written by Zergog Sebastian Tovar and directed by Timothy Plain.
Produced by Alrik Bursell, Over My Dead Body stars Karina Wolfe and Jeremy Mascia.
Plain told us, “We know the zombie genre is played out, but we did something new (and hopefully interesting) with our short film. It’s a mashup between a zombie film and a romantic-comedy. Zombies need love too!”
Synopsis:
Marie’s blind date is not turning out the way she expected, and now she must figure out a way to let him down easy, or else…
