The Resident Evil Remake with the Terrible Voice Acting from the Original Is the Funniest Thing Ever!

default-featured-image

Remember how unbelievably awful the voice acting was in the original Resident Evil? How the actors (who wisely chose to remain anonymous) were clearly just reading from cue cards without any inflections or effort? And who can forget the god-awful dialogue, namely the infamous “Jill Sandwich” pun which has become pretty much the most famous line in the history of gaming.

When the remake was released in 2002, it fixed many issues of the original, which included replacing the terrible voice acting. But did you ever wonder what the game would have been like had they kept it intact? No? Well, whether you wanted it or not, someone with too much free time on his hands has gone and added the original voice acting to the recent HD version of the remake, and it could just be the best thing ever made. It’s like something so horrible that you want to turn away, and yet also so hypnotic that you can’t help but watch.

And if, for any reason, you find the terrible voice acting so hypnotic that you can’t live without it, then click here to download a mod that will let you play the PC version of the remake with the 1996 voice acting. But to be honest, some things are best left unsaid (sorry).
