He Never Died Plots Theatrical Release and Launches Indiegogo Campaign

As many who caught the film during its festival run can attest, writer/director Jason Krawczyk’s He Never Died is a thoroughly enjoyable horror flick. To bring He Never Died to the masses, the filmmakers have launched an Indiegogo campaign to help fund its theatrical release. The $50,000 they’re seeking will also cover the cost of marketing the flick to ensure that it reaches as many eyeballs as possible. To celebrate the launch of the crowdfunding campaign, Krawczyk and company have unveiled a red band trailer, which you can find below.

Alternate Ending Studios and Henry Rollins, the iconic spoken word artist and frontman for the Rollins Band and Black Flag who is also a renowned author, TV and radio host, solitary traveler of the globe, and actor, are proud to announce the launch of a campaign today for HE NEVER DIED on Indiegogo, the world’s largest global crowdfunding platform.
Rollins and the filmmaking team behind HE NEVER DIED are seeking to raise finishing funds on their supernatural genre film so it can be released in theaters in the US. HE NEVER DIED follows the story of Jack (Rollins), who is seemingly indestructible and referenced in the Bible. He has grown weary of his long life until he meets a daughter he never knew, but when criminals from his past kidnap her in an effort to expose him, Jack must combat his inner demons to embark on a bloody warpath to seek revenge and save her.
As a bonus on the page, you will be able to watch a special taped introduction by Rollins where he presents an exclusive red band trailer for HE NEVER DIED.
“This film is a labor of love for the entire cast and crew,” said Rollins, “and we are working hard on bringing HE NEVER DIED to fruition. We’ve had a wonderful response from audiences at film festivals like SXSW and Fantasia, but now it’s time to unleash the film on the world. It’s a movie that was always intended to be seen in a group, on a large screen, with booming speakers – and my face staring right back at you. With your help, we will share this thrilling dark comedy with genre cinema fans everywhere.”
HE NEVER DIED is seeking to raise $50,000 by November 14, 2015, to support the release of the film in theaters throughout the US in December 2015. The pledge prizes for the campaign include Henry Rollins recording your phone voicemail, a limited edition signed poster from Rollins, a trip for two to a special screening and after party for the film in New York, or sitting down to interview Rollins so you can experience what it’s like to be part of the film release process, among others perks.
HE NEVER DIED is written and directed by Jason Krawczyk and stars Rollins along with Kate Greenhouse, BooBoo Stewart, Jordon Todosey, and Steven Ogg. The film was produced by Zach Hagen with cinematography by Eric Billman, editing by James Bredin, and music by James Mark Stewart.
